Fear, Exposed – Featuring A Girl I Know. Me.

So, in light of the fact that my book, You Don’t Need a Job, You Need Guts:  Combining Self + Passion + Business Through Digital Entrepreneurship, is launching TOMORROW, I wanted to be selfish & talk about myself as much as humanly possible.

<Insert LOL so you’ll think I’m joking & I’m not really that narcissistic, but I totally am.  Narcissistic, that is.>

No, no, babycakes.  This is MY week & I’m here to stand tall, fluff my feath-ahs, puff out my chest, and make it known to the world that I have got the GOODS.  And they’re HOT.

It’s time to be bold. Cheeky.  And let the universe know where they can get in on the sizzle.

If you pre-ordered the book, you can expect a shiny copy of your own to arrive in your inbox bright & early tomorrow morning.  However, if somehow you FORGOT, or you be CRAZY & were thinking that you weren’t interested before, you can sign up here to be reminded when the book launches tomorrow, and maybe receive a special perk, too.

[NOTE:  The pre-launch period has ended.]

God, I so wanted to put a wink face after that, but realized how creepy that would make me sound.

No.  No creepy Ashley’s allowed the day before book launch!  Creepy can wait until after.

ANYWAY–the book is designed specifically for beginners interested in learning how, exactly, to become a digital entrepreneur, do soul-shakingly good work that you love, make money, and do it all from a laptop.  I really hope you find it useful, and that it helps change your life.  (There.  I’m not that narcissistic–there’s something in here about you in here after all.)

So.

Since I wanted to keep the spotlight on me as much as possible this week, I thought I’d do a Fear, Exposed entry myself.

Ready?

Set?

Go.

***********************************************************************

My fears, in no particular order:

-

I’m not as intelligent as I think I am.

-

There will be a weak moment when I let fear get the best of me.

(And it will negatively impact my life forever.)

-

I’ll lose the drive to keep pushing myself.

-

The things that I think are great, aren’t.

-

I’ll fall in love.

(And it will ruin everything.)

-

Sometime, there will be someone who won’t give me a second chance.

(And I’ll really need it.)

-

Sometime, I won’t give someone a second chance who I should have.

(And they’ll really need it.)

-

I won’t have the guts to do the right thing.

-

The world will become a cruel place.

-

I won’t be strong enough for it.

-

I’ll never really be a good friend, because I’m too self-absorbed.

-

That I’m that way on purpose.

-

I’ll always resent people with big families.

-

And the fact that I can’t ever gather the motivation to lose those last 20 pounds.

-

I’m not always compassionate when I should be.

(And someday karma will get the best of me.)

-

I’ll forget where I came from.

-

And will become ungrateful for everything I have.

-

People will stop listening to my ideas.

-

My art (writing) won’t be good enough.

-

It will break my heart.

-

And I’ll never, ever get over it.

-

There.

Your turn.
