How to Work from Anywhere

Ummmm, are you—like me—currently in your cabin era? 🏡 Where all you want to do is go forage in a Swedish forest and photograph all the wildflowers and write all the romance novels and refinish an old bureau in the backyard?!

(Random Side Note: DID YOU KNOW SUNFLOWER SEEDS COME OUT OF THE HEAD OF THE SUNFLOWER?! why did I just learn this now at age 40??????)

The craving for slow living is unreal right now.

Ditto corn on the cob, but that’s just because I’m surrounded by it here at the farmhouse. 🌽

That’s because we’re experiencing a *huge* shift in the online landscape right now, as we transition from #girlboss #hustle culture, into one that’s softer, full of empty space on the calendar, marked by the desire for a slower pace of life, and one that prioritizes ease.

When was the last time you had real ease?

Several years ago I set out to fix this problem for myself: how can we do interesting, ambitious work—while *ALSO* having plenty of time to swing on the porch in a pair of cotton socks? How can we earn well, and contribute to our profession, and advance in our careers—while *ALSO* doing so from Ireland, or Spain, or Italy, or a farmhouse in sticks??? How can we do something meaningful and big and exciting, while still being well-rested & clear-eyed and have plenty of time leftover to try that pottery class? Or learn that second language? Or write that book? Or play hide and seek with our kids?

In response, I developed something I call “The Selfish Method.” It’s a modern take on online business that uses more technology than usual to clone your efforts & make sales (way) easier so you can enjoy your life.

Because, yes, we do want to have our cake and eat it, too. And now, it’s entirely possible.

Used correctly, technology makes us superheroes.

But, most of us are still using it to scroll Threads. (Not that I’m not loving Threads right now!)

• How to create intellectual property to earn an annual target income of $250,000 from anywhere in the world using The Selfish Method (and why, despite seeming arbitrary, this number is actually THE optional number for still having space in your day)
• How to work 50% less while doing it (because #technology #systems)
• And, how to travel 500% more than the average American every year (that’s a minimum of 3 months off you can take to visit your sister in Michigan, or go photograph architecture in Amsterdam, or take an art class in Florence.)
